About The Film

Set between Accra and Paris, the film follows a young researcher preparing to leave Ghana to begin a new life abroad as an International Sustainability Educator.

Just hours before his departure, he becomes the victim of jungle justice, leaving behind an interrupted future with a man who adores him and raising difficult questions about identity, society, and the role politics, culture and religion has to play in homophobia in Africa.

Why This Matters

The global film industry is increasingly recognizing the importance of new voices and underrepresented stories.

African cinema is gaining attention on international stages, yet many projects still lack the infrastructure and financing required to reach wider audiences.

By combining African storytelling with international production networks, The Hassan Cole & Company positions its projects for global visibility and cultural relevance.
